This route ran its last service on 3 September 2023. Route 17 has been retired and replaced by new services.
The new 8 and 27 routes have more frequent buses and simpler schedules and between them, cover all the communities that Route 17 used to cover.
If you usually travel between Huntsbury and the Bus Interchange, take Route 27.
If you usually travel between Bryndwr and the Bus Interchange, take Route 8.
If you used to catch the Route 17 to travel through the Bus Interchange, you will need to transfer from Route 8 to Route 27 (or vice versa) at the Bus Interchange to reach your destination. Improved frequency on both new routes will mean less waiting time between buses when transferring.
