Detour for Kirk Rd road works – 671 & 673 (from 20/04/2026 until further notice)
On Monday 20th April there will be road works on Kirk Rd that will require school routes 671 and 673 to detour from its usual route until further notice.
Morning trips travelling towards Upper Riccarton Schools will not be impacted.
Afternoon trips travelling towards Burnham will follow the normal route to Waterloo Rd, turn right on Kirk Rd, and turn left on Railway Tce to resume the normal route.

Detour for Railway Tce road works – 671 & 673 (from 22/04/2026 until 1/05/2026)
On Wednesday 22nd April for 10 days there will be road works on Railway Tce that will require school routes 671 & 673 to detour from its usual route.
Morning trips travelling towards Upper Riccarton Schools will follow the normal route to Jones Rd, take the 2nd exit at the Dawsons Rd roundabout, onto Dawsons Rd, turn right on Maddisons Rd, turn right on Kirk Rd, and turn left on Banks St to resume the normal route.
Afternoon trips travelling towards Burnham will follow the normal route to Banks St, turn right on Kirk Rd, turn left on Maddisons Rd, turn left on Dawsons Rd, take the 2nd exit at the Dawsons Rd roundabout, and onto Jones Rd to resume the normal route.
