Published 24/06/2024

We are providing extra bus services for easier travel to Christchurch City Council's Winter Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday 6 July 2024. Avoid road closures and parking challenges by catching the bus.

The event

Enjoy local kai from onsite vendors, while DJZ and The Hits FM host fun, family-friendly entertainment at the car park north of the New Brighton Pier from 5.30PM to 8PM.

The fireworks show will begin at 7.30PM, running for approximately 15 minutes. This year’s soundtrack accompanying the display has an 80s theme, featuring iconic hits by Queen, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Talking Heads and more.
