On Sunday 12^th April for one day there will be road closures due to the Christchurch Marathon that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route.

From first bus till 3:00pm -  Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route to the Bus Interchange, exit the Bus Interchange via Tuam St, continue on Tuam St, turn left on Fitzgerald Ave, and turn right on Hereford St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will not be impacted.

On Tuesday 7^th April for 4 days there will be road works on Corsair Dr that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton and Wigram will follow the normal route to Skyhawk Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Kittyhawk Ave roundabout, take the 2^nd exit at the Valiant St roundabout, and take the 3^rd exit at The Runway roundabout to finish trip at the temporary terminus on The Runway.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will start trip from the temporary terminus on The Runway, take the 3^rd exit at the Corsair Dr roundabout, and service Stop #53440 on Corsair Dr to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 6th January there will be road works on Estuary Rd that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route along Estuary Rd, take the first exit at the roundabout on to Bridge St, turn right on to Pine Ave, veer left to stay on Pine Ave and continue on Rockinghorse Rd to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will not be impacted.

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland will follow the normal route to Barbadoes St, turn left on Bealey Ave, turn right on Fitzgerald Ave, turn right on Saint Asaph St, turn right on Madras St, turn left on Hereford St, turn right on Latimer Sq W, turn left on Gloucester St, and turn left on Manchester St to resume the normal route.

From Monday 5th January there will be road works restarting on Flockton St that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley will follow the normal route along Warrington St, continue on Warrington St, turn left on to Hills Rd, left on to Aylesford St, left on to Westminster St and right on to Kensington Ave to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland will follow the normal route along Westminster St, continue on Westminster St, left on to Francis Ave, left on to Warrington St and right on to Barbadoes St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling inbound towards the City via Fendalton will follow the normal route to Harper Ave, continue on Bealey Ave, turn right on Fitzgerald Ave, turn right on Saint Asaph St, turn left on Hereford St, turn right on Latimer Sq W, turn left on Gloucester St, and turn left on Manchester St to resume the normal route.

From 10:30am till 3:00pm – Buses travelling outbound towards the Airport will follow the normal route to Manchester St, continue on Manchester St, follow traffic management instructions on Manchester St, turn left on Bealey Ave, and continue on Harper Ave to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling inbound towards the Bus Interchange will have no detour required, but will need to follow traffic management instructions on Manchester St.

On Tuesday 7^th April for 3 nights there will be road works on Fendalton Rd that will require the Route 100 service to detour from its usual route from 7pm till last bus.

Buses travelling westbound towards the Airport will follow the normal route to Fendalton Rd, turn right on Weka St, take the 2^nd exit at the Tui St roundabout, turn right on Kotare St, turn right on Clyde Rd, and turn left on Memorial Ave to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards City via Fendalton will not be impacted.

Buses travelling southbound towards Huntsbury will follow the normal route to Colombo St, turn left on Bealey Ave, turn right on Fitzgerald Ave, turn right on Saint Asaph St, turn right on Madras St, turn left on Hereford St, turn right on Latimer Sq W, turn left on Gloucester St, and turn left on Manchester St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Lyttelton will follow the normal route to Carlton Mill Rd, veer left to enter Bealey Ave, turn right on Fitzgerald Ave, turn right on Saint Asaph St, turn right on Manchester St, and turn left on Lichfield St to resume the normal route.

From 10:30am till 3:00pm – Buses travelling northbound towards the Airport will follow the normal route to Manchester St, continue on Manchester St, follow traffic management instructions on Manchester St, turn left on Bealey Ave, and veer right on Carlton Mill Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Bus Interchange will follow the normal route to Carlton Mill Rd, veer left on Bealey Ave, turn right on Victoria St, turn left on Salisbury St, turn right on Manchester St, and follow traffic management instructions on Manchester St to resume the normal route.

From first bus till 10:30am -  Buses travelling westbound towards Halswell will follow the normal route to Fitzgerald Ave, continue on Fitzgerald Ave, turn right on Saint Asaph St, turn right on Madras St, turn left on Hereford St, turn right on Latimer Sq W, and turn left on Gloucester St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Gloucester St, turn right on Latimer Sq W, turn right on Hereford St, turn left on Manchester St, turn left on Tuam St, turn left on Fitzgerald Ave, and continue on Fitzgerald Ave to resume the normal route.

There will be several closed and temporary bus stops along Halswell Rd due to the road improvements currently underway and estimated to take two and a half years. These will impact Route 7 passengers as well as some other routes that use Halswell Rd.

Please take note of the signs installed by contractors at the closed stops, directing you to the nearest stop/temporarily placed stop. Allow for additional time to get to your stop in case stops have been moved as the road works progress.

From Saturday 21st March the third stage of the wastewater project works on Greers Rd will require the Route 120 service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling northbound towards Burnside will not be impacted

Buses travelling southbound towards Spreydon will follow the normal route to Cranbrook Ave, turn left on Grahams Rd, turn right on Wairakei Rd, turn right on Greers Rd, and turn left on Clyde Rd to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 10th March the next stage of the wastewater project works on Greers Rd will require the Orbiter service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling clockwise will follow the normal route to Greers Rd, turn left on Memorial Ave, turn right on Grahams Rd, turn right on Wairakei Rd, and turn left on Greers Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling anticlockwise will not be impacted.

From Monday 12th January there will be Stop/Go traffic controls in place on Centaurus Rd near Kowhai Tce to facilitate sewer renewal works that will impact the Orbiter service

Unfortunately, there is no suitable detour for heavy vehicles in this area so delays to certain trips may occur.

Works are expected to be completed in April.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Rangiora will not be impacted.
