Detour for Routes 100, 120, 130 - Ilam Rd, Creyke Rd, and Clyde Rd stops affected
From Monday 9th September 2024, there will be long-term road works on Clyde Road and Creyke Road that will require Routes 100, 120, and 130 service to detour from their usual route for about a year (until at least September 2025). This is part of the Ilam wastewater upgrade project. You can read more about this project on the Christchurch City Council website.
Detour for Route 100 The Palms/Wigram
Ilam Road, Creyke Road, and Clyde Road stops will be removed from this bus route.
Buses travelling westbound towards Wigram will follow the normal route along Riccarton Road and instead of turning right onto Clyde Road, buses will continue onto Riccarton Road to resume normal route, avoiding Clyde Rd, Creyke Rd, and Ilam Rd.
Buses travelling eastbound towards The Palms will follow the normal route along Riccarton Road and instead of turning left onto Ilam Road, buses will continue onto Riccarton Road to resume normal route, avoiding Ilam Rd, Creyke Rd, and Clyde Rd.

Travelling from University of Canterbury
Walk through Ilam Rd to the closest alternative stop at Riccarton Road, or
From the affected Ilam Rd bus stops, catch Route 3 travelling to Sumner, stop at Riccarton Rd, and connect to Route 100 in both directions to avoid the walk.
Travelling to University of Canterbury
Get off Route 100 at Riccarton Rd close to Ilam Road, and walk through Ilam Rd to University of Canterbury, or
Get off Route 100 at Riccarton Rd close to Ilam Road (bus stops 37745 or 11898), connect to Route 3 travelling to Sheffield Cres/Airport and stop outside the University to avoid the walk."
Detour for Route 120 Spreydon
Buses travelling southbound towards Spreydon will follow the normal route to Clyde Road before turning right onto Creyke Road, left onto Ilam Road, and left onto Riccarton Road to resume normal route.
Please note the bus stops where the bus will go through in this detour will not be serviced (Creyke Road, Ilam Road, and first two stops on Riccarton Road before Clyde Road).
Buses travelling northbound towards Burnside will not be impacted.

Detour for Route 130 Hei Hei
Buses travelling westbound towards Hei Hei will follow the normal route to Maidstone Road before turning left onto Ilam Road, right onto Memorial Avenue, right onto Clyde road, and left onto Kotare Street to resume normal route.
Buses travelling eastbound towards Avonhead will not be impacted.
